Join CAC and Arts Advocates

There are several ways you can join Cultural Arts Connection (CAC) in its commitment to cultural, educational, social and economic health for our communities through support and encouragement of artists and the arts. CAC believes that by bringing people together through the arts we will all benefit with a healthier, more creative community.

Ways you can help:

Become a CAC Member

You are a very important person to Cultural Arts Connection because without your support, this website and the programs of CAC would not happen. As an independent non-profit arts council, CAC is operated by primarily volunteers and depends on both public and private funds to exist and operate cultural programs.

Every CAC Member will receive:

  • E-Arts: Advanced notice on upcoming cultural programs and events provided by CAC
  • Discounts on CAC sponsored programs
  • Special invitation to CAC's annual meeting held in May
  • Eligible to list events on cultural calendar for free
    (subject to approval based on appropriate content and criteria)
  • Eligible to submit grant requests
Membership Fees:
  • $25 for student or seniors
  • $35 for families (1-4 immediate family members)
  • $50 for families (5-10 immediate family members)
  • $75 corporate with <5 employees (> 5 employees: Please call CAC at 847-540-1919 to discuss appropriate benefits and fees.)

Cultural Arts Connection invites you to become an artist member and receive:

  • E-ARts: Advanced notice on upcoming cultural programs and events provided by CAC
  • Discounts on CAC sponsored programs
  • Special invitation to CAC's annual meeting held in May
  • Use of CAC loan program at discounted membership rates
  • Eligible to list events on cultural calendar for free
    (subject to approval based on appropriate content and criteria)
  • Eligible to submit grant requests
  • And the following specific services:
  • $35 Individual Artist:
    A listing in Artist Registry and Referral service, E-Gallery (1 picture), discounts for up to 4
  • $50 Individual Artist:
    A listing in Artist Registry, E-Gallery (up to 4 pictures), and Referral service, discounts for up to 4
  • $50 Corporate (< 5 employees):
    A listing in Artist Registry or Artists Resources, referral service.
  • $75 Corporate (<5 employees):
    A listing in Artist Registry or Artists Resources, E-Gallery, and Referral service.
    (>5 employees): Please call CAC at 847-540-1919 to discuss appropriate benefits and fees.
  • $15 for each additional listing on the registry or E-Gallery.

Become an Arts Advocate

Arts Advocates are an energetic group of volunteers who help CAC arts and cultural organizations succeed. The Advocates provide an organized corps of volunteers willing to assist with your one-time project or special event. CAC seeks Arts Advocates with a variety of backgrounds including marketing, public relations, engineers, lawyers, artists, homemakers, designers, independent contractors, architects, etc., who are willing to volunteer their free time to assist in such projects as: art show staffing, small mailings, up-front project planning, etc.
